This is what I read from LA Times a few months ago. Racial minorities like blacks have a very different opinion on obesity from other racial groups. Why? Since my store have a lot of black customers, I noticed that many people don’t see obesity as a negative thing. I wonder why.

Because of Mo’Nique.

    I don’t think it’s so much of a racial thing as an individual thing. It depends on experiences and how on is raised to view obesity.

    Black people tend to be bigger built and fuller figured than white or Asian people, so they see it as more natural, which is why they tend to be more accepting of it.

    they cant help it,,if most of youre race sat at home all there life waiting on a check from the government and had no drive to get a job then you would get used to it also

    Im Black and i see it at as a negative thing. No way do i want to end up obese or see anyone im close to obese.
