Obesity rates in the states are climbing. Colorado’s rate is also growing but yet they still maintain the lowest obese rate in the whole United States. What is this due to?

Fresh air that encourages people to go outside and be active, instead of stuck in the suburbs or inside their country homes due to nasty weather. That’s my opinion. I’ve always thought it might be that they get out of the house more. Winters are so severe there that when the Spring thaw comes they all go camping, hiking, rock-climbing, etc. Canadians are also healthier and thinner than Americans, perhaps for the same reason. The US states with the most obesity are in the Sun Belt, where the weather is more the same all year so people sit inside and play video games.
