I’m dieting right now, and I want to know how many weeks after will I see the results? Thanks!

It can vary a lot. It can be later the same week, or not for four weeks! It’s important to have patience in the beginnings for the losses to kick in.

If you’re female, your cycle can effect it too. You can think you’re not losing because you’re gaining that 2-3 lbs right before while losing 1-2 lbs the same week.

Adding exercise makes a big different at keeping it going.

Sometimes you’ll see nothing on the scale, but your clothes will be a little looser, then finally 2 weeks later a bit of weight will come off. Sometimes you’ll see nothing for 2-3 weeks, then suddenly see something.

Hang in there!

I know what your saying, you shouldn’t eat junk food while dieting. But things similar to popcorn, cake, a cupcake, small things. How often should you eat junk food while dieting?

You know, carbs can also be GOOD carbs. Wholegrain carbohydrates (brown bread etc), should form the basis of every meal you eat. Carbs exist in fruit as well – and you can hardly say fruit it bad for you!

You’re just talking about junk food in general. In which case, a treat a week won’t hurt.

Someone told me when I started my diet to go buy some fish oil pills. I know they help control heart disease and lows your risk of cancer but how does it help when your dieting because I don’t understand.
She said they boost your metabolism from the omega 3 fatty acids that are found in the oil. But I don’t know if it’s true.

I know of no weight loss effects of fish oil, although you can do some research and see what you find…they are healthy (I take them) but I can’t imagine any effect they’d have on fat burning…

& how often should an epileptic be eating a day while dieting?

Foods high in magnesium. ALL epileptics in clinical trials were found to be deficient in magnesium. Magnesium deficiency alone can cause seizures. Diets should never go below 1200 calories a day for women and 1800 calories a day for men. To go lower will adversely affect your health. Eat regularly to speed up the metabolism to help with weight loss. Eating regularly to keep up your blood sugar is important for seizure control.

I am only 13 and I want to lose a handful of tummy fat before spring break in two weeks. How do I do that without dieting?
Could I adjust my meals? Some examples of six meals instead of 3? Anyone?

jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

i haven’t seen my grandma in a long time so i decided to go down, well 2 my shock when i walked in the door she asked me if i was pregnant. after that i went to the doctors and they said im not so i need a way to dieting and diets.

I stuck relegiously to it for 3 months and lose 7 pound. I have quite a lot to lose so i thought i would lose more. The main problem was i ended up with too much uric acid in the blood and now my joints are painful but im going to try fast tract hypnosis. Keeping my fingers crossed. My friend also tried it and only lost 3 pound in a month.

I should know. I’m an idiot.

I bought the Fat Loss 4 Idiots program a few years ago (Actually, I think it was called "Weight Loss 4 Idiots" then). I was tempted by their claim that I could "lose 9 pounds in 11 days" by "eating foods that I choose". I was excited to fork over my money and begin my journey to weight loss success.

What happened? Well, when I tried to select my foods, I was presented with a list of food choices, many of which I didn’t like. Despite what they’ll tell you in the advertisements, this is a high protein low carb diet. And I’m a vegetarian. There were many "fake meat" products to choose from, but I don’t like those either.

Still, I thought that I might be able to substitute foods that I did like and somehow apply the principle of the diet. I didn’t like what I saw. Other review sites will tell you that you get to eat "4 square meals a day" on the Fat Loss 4 Idiots program. But this isn’t entirely true. You do get to eat four meals a day. However, the "meals" consist of one food only. How much of any one food can a person eat? Not much.

What about all the additional information that comes with the program? There was not a single piece of information on that site which I hadn’t already heard from a free source.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots only works because it is a very low calorie, low carb diet. However, it’s just that. A diet. It doesn’t teach you how to properly eat so that you don’t gain weight when you go off the diet. It’s likely that this is just a temporary solution.
The weight will come back.

The reality is that losing weight permanently isn’t easy and it doesn’t happen overnight. I know that’s not a popular sentiment, but it’s the truth. You are much better off making healthy changes over time that become a permanent part of your life.

Shannon Tani is a former fattie, who weighed over 220lbs. She has currently lost over 70lbs. One day she realized that people would rather hear dieting advice from someone who’s "been there, done that" than a boring old doctor who’s never been fat a day in his life. So she started the website Better Off Fat to share her experiences and ideas.

I’ve been dieting for a while, and it’s a reasonably good plan that’s helping me lose weight. I was just wondering how much exercise and what kind of exercise would be good to help speed things up? I’ve been going to the gym 3/4 times a week and have been doing 30 minutes of rowing and 20 on the treadmill each time.

What could you recommend to get rid of belly fat in particular? Any good exercises? Advice would be great :) Thanks!

you need to exercise 5x a week and you should add in some weight training
are you running on the treadmill or walking or jogging? if walking start jogging if jogging start running if your running maybe either add an incline or go faster and you can try interval training do it at the end of your workout for interval training you will do something such as sprint as fast as you can on the treadmill for 10-45 seconds then slow down to either a jog or fast walk for 30-90 seconds and then go back to sprinting then back to walking and keep switching between the two until you are so tired you cant really do it anymore (the reason its at the end of a workout is because you wont have the energy to do anymore working out after you do interval training) aim for 10 min to start if you can and try to work your way up to doing 20-30 min interval training you can also do this with the rowing machine as fast as you can then slow it down then fast again if you add interval training do it 2x per week and maybe work up to 3x after youve done it a while
