Is it possible to lose 10-13lbs for the summer without losing my period and mainaing my weight after?/ I’m 5”2 and a half and 126lbs, am I over weight?
I know that everyone has their own set weight goal blah blah blah, but do you think thta it is heavy? Becasue I do, but no one believes me.

That is NOT heavy. Also, if you really work hard you could possibly lose that weight. But you honestly dont need to.

I want to lose weight from my thighs but is there anyway I can lose weight there without getting a small butt?

You cannot target a certain spot on your body to reduce fat. Whatever you do for exercise, it will burn the fat in equal percentage all over your body. To answer in a way you like, would be to actually to squats, this will burn fat (allover) AND build muscle in your butt and hamstrings quadriceps which in turn will even burn more fat, but with a great looking butt! :-)

I’m a 16 years old girl and I’m not fat at all but my arms look a little big and I want to make it skinnier.
I’m a vegan already so I know what right foods I should eat but what exercise would help so that I won’t gain muscles?
I know If I want to lose weight from my arms then I’ll have to lose weight all over my body.
So what types of exercise and how often should I do them so that my arms will be in perfect shape?

If you lift weights focusing on your biceps and triceps.
You will gain muscle if you keep increasing the weight that your lifting. However, If you focus on a light weight and just keep increasing your reps, then you may increase a little bit of muscle, but it will mostly just help you "tone" your arms so they arn’t flabby, you definitely won’t look muscular..lol.

I already have smallish boobs, and I don’t want to lose what little I have!

I plan on losing 10-15 pounds. Is there a way I can prevent the boob shrinkage that comes with weight loss, haha?

1. First start by getting up earlier than usual. Around 5:30 AM to do some of you workouts. Getting up early shocks your metabolism because the body needs more energy to get going. Right? This will start your system on the road to weight loss. That early start with about 10 minutes of stretching. Have a cup of coffee to get the blood going also.

2. Do all the sit-ups you can. Just do them. 15 or 20 whatever, we don’t have a lot of time to work with. Rest 1 minute repeat, do this for 6 sets. Already you are breathing hard and feel worn, because the body is working extra hard at being up earlier and then going right into exercise. If the early morning hour lets you get your cardio in, go ahead and do it. 30 minutes.

3. Diet. Cut all current meal portions in half, just cut them in half, nothing fancy or complicated, CUT IN HALF! Cut out all bread products, all gravies, candies, chips, night snacks, etc. If you crave at night eat a banana, other fruit or best a non-fat yogurt. There are some tasty ones out there.

4. In the evening do another 6 sets of sit-ups maxing out each set. Cardio again. The trick is to stay with getting up earlier. Yes it’s hard, that’s why it is so effective. Why do you think the Army gets up so early, it is intense training to the max.

I don’t like gyms and i’m too shy to go in one because people there are fit and muscly than myself. I have lost 20 kgs (46 lbs) over the past 6 months. I need to lose 10 more kgs (22 lbs) to reach my goal weight. But since it is winter where i am i want to be able to exercise, maintain and lost weight without having to use any gym equipment or go to the gym. What can i simply do?

I’ve never used a gym and never had trouble being able to exercise on my own. Not sure what the weather is like where you are, but if you can get outdoors you can run or walk. That’s possible even in Winter here.

If you must stay indoors, then workout with dumbbells for strength training and do aerobics videos/workouts for your cardio. There are tons of DVDs and videos you can purchase or look in youtube and watch workout videos there for free. I bought the P90X workout program off ebay and found it to be a really good mix of cardio and strength training, to be done indoors. You need dumbbells or resistance bands for the strength training days…a pull up bar or resistand bands are also needed for the workouts that do pullups/chinups.

Ok so im already petite build,but i would still love to lose weight off my thights,bum,and sides. I know going to the gym tones it up in to muscle,but how do i lose some weight off the areas before doing that?I dont need to diet or anything as i am 23 and 7st 4.

I have always been a little big for my age and i would love to lose some weight before school starts in a mouth, i always try to lose weight by going for walks. I would love to have some tips to keep myself going. And also if it would be easier to throw up once and awhile after eating. PLEASE HELP?

Walking at a certain speed wherein I feel muscle "strain" (I can feel the burn!) is very healthy for me, I know. But I want to know how fast I can lose weight by doing this daily and eating a healthy diet full of a balanced amount of pasta, vegetables, meat, and water.
Can I lose five-ten pounds in 5 months or so? Or how long, and how many pounds?

Does water help you lose weight?

Losing weight requires consuming fewer calories than you burn. Walking 100 meters a day isn’t much exercise if you want to lose weight, but if you restrict your calories a little you should be able to lose that much weight in 5 months.

There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.

Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy.

Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate – in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don’t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies.

Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day.

Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.

Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body.
